Different types of depression.

Why different types of antidepressant medications work. Basically there are three chemical imbalances or combination of the three that cause depression. Seritonin, dopamine, and nor-epinepherine. Slowing down the reuptake of one or more of these results in a higher concentration of the chemical(s). Different antidepressants do this differently. This does/does not address bipolar?
